Join Assetto Corsa EVO's online servers from the app, see where your friends are and join them, and start a crew with its own challenge and records. This release also brings the Assetto Corsa car converter and REDLINE PRO, a custom grid and more settings on the Drive form, and over 200 fixes across every page. 1.2.0 was not released on its own, so everything it changed is part of 1.3.0 and listed here.
New
- Online > All Servers lists Assetto Corsa EVO's public servers. Pick a server and a car, press Join, and REDLINE starts the game and puts you in that server's pit lane. You press Drive yourself. A server with a password asks for it first, and if the game is already running, REDLINE asks before restarting it.
- The server list only offers cars you have. A server that runs cars you don't have, such as mods or a different version of a car, can't be joined, and REDLINE names the cars you are missing. When a join is refused, you are told why in plain words. Servers can be filtered by mode, by empty or full, by password and by whether you have the cars, and sorted by players, ping, name or track.
- Online > Friends: add friends by their REDLINE handle, the public name under Settings > License. You see who is online, who is in the game and who is on a server, with its track and car, and Join takes you to the same server. Each friend also shows what they last played.
- Where you are is read from the game's own log, so a server you join from the game's own menus counts too. Settings has Show friends and crew where I am: switch it off and you show as offline.
- Online > Crews: start a crew with a name and a tag, or join one. The owner makes it open to anyone or invite-only, with a 6-character code to share. A crew holds up to 50 members, and you can be in one crew at a time.
- A crew's page shows who from the crew is on track now, with Join. The owner can set a crew challenge, a track and a car for 3 days, a week or two weeks, with its own leaderboard and a Drive it button. Crew records list the fastest lap on each track with your gap to it, and a This week line counts the crew's sessions and laps and names the track and car driven most. Only laps you share publicly (Settings > Show my times publicly) count.
- Build > Convert from AC1 turns Assetto Corsa cars into Assetto Corsa EVO cars. Point REDLINE at your Assetto Corsa install or any mod folder, or add a .zip, .7z or .rar (.rar needs WinRAR or 7-Zip installed). Pick cars and queue them; the queue can be paused and resumed. Each car is checked before it installs into the game's mods folder. If the game is running, the install waits until you close it. PRO
- Search the Assetto Corsa library with filters such as brand:ferrari, class:gt3, year:>2010 and status:converted. Browsing the library, the readiness lists and the build reports are free. A mod folder or an imported car you added can be removed from the library again.
- Before a car converts, a readiness list says what was found and what will be substituted. Afterwards, a build report gives a verdict (Verified, Playable with notes, Not installable, or Cannot convert), the checks that ran, what Assetto Corsa EVO cannot express for that car, and where each value came from. Copy as Markdown puts it on your clipboard.
- Cars encrypted for Custom Shaders Patch or Content Manager are listed and marked as encrypted, but never converted: REDLINE does not decrypt paid or protected content. The Hide encrypted filter takes them out of the list.
- Build > Convert liveries adds an Assetto Corsa skin to a car you have already converted, without rebuilding the car. It also opens from Garage > Liveries > Add from AC1. If a skin repaints textures the converted car depends on, REDLINE says it needs a rebuild instead of adding it half right. PRO
- The Livery Studio has paint templates for converted cars, with the Assetto Corsa wireframe. PRO
- Drag and drop: drop an Assetto Corsa car folder, an archive, a folder of skins, a REDLINE build file, or a .redlinecar, .redlinelivery, .redlinesetup or .redlinedriver file anywhere on the window. REDLINE works out what it is, then opens the right step or installs it. Anything it can't use is listed with the reason.
- REDLINE PRO covers the Assetto Corsa converter, painting liveries and dressing drivers in the Livery Studio, and the Showroom. It comes with Stage 2 or above on Patreon: link Patreon under Settings > License and PRO is added to your licence key. Painting in the Livery Studio was free in 1.1.2. The Studio's Library stays free: liveries you already have, and liveries installed from the Store, can still be assigned, shared, imported and deleted.
- Garage > Preview car shows a car in the 3D Showroom, inside the app or in its own window. PRO
- Drivers: a Driver picker on the Drive form chooses the suit, helmet and gloves you wear, and Manage… lists your drivers. A driver that doesn't fit a car leaves that car's own driver in place, and REDLINE says so.
- Livery Studio > Driver is the new Driver Studio: dress a driver's helmet, suit and gloves with colours, a design or your own painting, and see the result in 3D. PRO
- Drive > Race: Customise grid… sets up to 14 AI one by one, each with its own car, driver, name, nationality, team, number, strength, aggression and consistency, and the place you start from. Grids can be saved and loaded. A car that can't race as AI is left out, and REDLINE says which.
- Drive form: choose the setup your car starts on: the car's default, one of your saved setups, or one that ships with the car. You can still change it in the pits. A setup in the Garage has Drive with this setup.
- Drive form: new Assists and Weather detail sections. Assists covers the automatic gearbox and clutch, throttle blip, ignition, pit limiter, standing start, ideal line, lights, wipers and stability control. Weather detail sets cloud cover, rain, track wetness, fog, humidity, gloom, and wind gusts and direction. Rules adds the pause menu options and the crowd.
- Drive form: an Electronics section sets the traction control, ABS and other levels the selected car lets you adjust, before you start. It applies when there are no AI on the grid.
- A Damage slider on the Drive form, from 0 to 100%, replaces the Disable damage checkbox. It sets the game's own Damage setting for that session, and starts from the value you use in the game. Drive setups saved with 1.1.2 come back as 0% or 100%.
- Save to game garage, on a car's page, creates the saved car the game needs, so you don't have to open the game's garage first.
- The Garage can be filtered by where a car came from: Stock, Built, Converted, Mods or Saved. Saved now means cars you saved yourself, not every car REDLINE has touched.
- List on the store, on a car's page: REDLINE photographs the car and writes the listing from its own specs. Converted Kunos cars are for your own use and can't be listed.
- Store: drivers can be published and installed like cars, liveries and setups. A creator can put a new version on an existing listing, so everyone who installed it is offered the update.
- Notifications: the bell tells you when a mod you installed from the Store has a new version, and Downloads updates it. Notifications can be deleted one at a time or cleared all at once, and deleted ones don't come back.
- Tune a car: engine braking and throttle response each get a drag-to-edit curve, like the torque curve. A build can be fitted with a different tyre; only tyres for the same rim size are offered, so the wheel model stays right. If a turbo's boost curve stops short of a raised rev limiter, Extend to redline carries it up to the limiter. Before, the top of the rev range ran with no boost.
- Double-click a .redlinecar, .redlinelivery, .redlinesetup or .redlinedriver file to install it in REDLINE. Switch this on or off under Settings > Online & privacy.
- A car's page warns you when the car is incomplete, or when its folder has gone after a game update, a Steam Verify or a manual delete. You see the warning before the car can fail in the game.
Improved
- Quick launch puts you in the driver the game's own menu would give you: the driver that goes with the livery, or the car's street or racing default. It used to be the generic racing suit for every car.
- When Assetto Corsa EVO updates before REDLINE supports the new build, quick launch pauses and the game starts normally, with a notice explaining why. Everything else keeps working. REDLINE checks for support when it starts, every ten minutes, and whenever you come back to the window. It downloads and verifies the new engine file itself and tells you when it is ready. No app update is needed.
- Works with Assetto Corsa EVO 0.9.1 (the 7 September 2026 build).
- From this version on, app updates install without the setup wizard: one Windows prompt, a small progress window, then REDLINE reopens by itself. Your settings and cars are not touched. Update now, on the update notice and in Settings, installs inside the app instead of opening a download in your browser.
- The Starting fuel box is empty by default, and empty means the car's own fuel. Launches no longer force 30 litres. A number you type is kept between 1 litre and the car's tank size.
- Drive: Field composition reads Same car as you, which is what Same class as player did, or Mixed cars, which now picks AI cars close to your car's pace using the game's own performance index. Before, it took the first cars in the list.
- Drive: with AI on the grid there is no qualifying session, so the form no longer offers one, and a start From qualifying becomes a start from the back.
- Drive: the AI aggression slider now sets exactly the aggression the AI drives with, and AI strength tops out at 100%, the most the game uses. Before, the sliders showed numbers the AI never got.
- Drive: saving a setup under a name that already exists asks before replacing it, and the limit of 40 saved setups is gone.
- Drive opens on your last launch instead of Practice on the first track in the list.
- Home refreshes each time you open it and after the game closes, and shows lap times and distance driven where it used to show file sizes.
- An engine swap now takes the donor's engine exactly as the game ships it, instead of merging it onto the base car's engine.
- Custom car and Tune a car builds contain only the game's own files. Before, a gap could be filled with a guessed file from a similar-looking car.
- A build's spec sheet and its preview now show the same power figures.
- Garage: the dyno's power figures are marked as estimates from the curve (the published figure is under Specifications), the chart has bigger axis and peak labels, and each car's class tag shows its real class.
- Livery Studio: New livery… starts a livery for any car that supports liveries and saves that car in the game for you; cars that don't are listed with the reason. The 3D view can pop out into its own window and follow your painting. Interior puts you in the driver's seat. PRO
- Livery Studio: built cars now have a 3D model in the Studio, and cars are drawn with far more of their own textures. PRO
- A livery's picture is a render of the car wearing it, not its flat paint sheet.
- The Archive tab is laid out like File Explorer, with its own light and dark theme. Game files preview as readable fields instead of raw hex, meshes export to FBX as well as OBJ, Save as… saves a file where you pick, and textures save as full-size PNG.
- Settings > Status shows the game install, your cars and the engine file, each with the button that fixes a problem, and Settings > System shows whether the REDLINE server is answering.
- Store: Browse no longer stops at 200 listings (Show more loads the rest), Check files offers Reinstall for anything that needs repair, and Location opens the mod's own folder.
- Settings shows the version you are running, and the update prompt only offers a version newer than yours.
- Career mode, which was never switched on in a released version, has been removed.
Fixed
- Exit to Menu after a quick launch crashed the game, on every car.
- Freeze fuel, Starting fuel and Record telemetry on the Drive form did nothing on the current game build. All three work again.
- Practice on the Drive form started a Hot Lap. It now starts a practice session.
- Driving a saved car now wears its livery, and the Garage preview shows it too. A livery can only be assigned to the car it was painted for.
- The livery picker showed "(no skins)" for every built car.
- REDLINE read only about half of the game archive's file list, so thousands of shipped files looked missing. It now sees all of them.
- The engine update prompt could offer an engine file made for a different game build.
- Two buttons left over from the old content modloader no longer did anything, and have been removed.
- Saving a game location in Settings (the game, the mods folder or Saved Games) always failed with an error. It saves again.
- Several layouts could not be launched from the Drive form, including all four Paul Ricard layouts.
- Race on a layout with no race event, such as Touristenfahrten, quietly started a Time Attack. Race is now refused there with the reason, and those layouts show as Practice only.
- Scrolling down the Drive form with the mouse wheel changed sliders and numbers on the way.
- Resume last session could start a different session from the one you drove, and failed on layouts with longer names and on Spa, Sebring, Watkins Glen and the Nordschleife. It now replays the session you drove, with telemetry on so the lap is recorded.
- The ambient temperature you set only changed the session's average, and the wind speed was not applied. Both now reach the session.
- Drive this car, on a car's page, could leave the Drive page on a different car after new cars were installed.
- Some save buttons did nothing inside the app: Export PNG on the dyno chart, Download in the Archive, and Export PNG in the Livery Studio's layers. Each now saves the file, through a Save dialog or into your Pictures folder.
- Export and Back up all in My builds opened a Forbidden page in your browser. They now save through a Save dialog.
- A Custom car build with any change in the Tune step was installed without a saved car, so it showed a No saved car yet warning.
- A car without a spec card in the game showed the previous car's specifications.
- Leaving a car's page threw away setup changes you had not saved, without asking.
- The track page's Global times and the World Times board showed no laps on Spa, Sebring and Watkins Glen.
- The Session Studio could show one session's telemetry under another session's title.
- In the Livery Studio, switching car or opening a second project kept the previous livery's name, so saving could overwrite that livery.
- A new livery with the same name as another car's livery replaced it without asking, and names with accented or non-Latin letters were all saved as "livery". Saving now asks before replacing.
- Re-saving an opened livery dropped its carbon and other material zones.
- Text placed on the canvas but not yet applied was left out of a save, and projects kept only their first 32 layers.
- Store: Uninstall could report success when nothing, or only part of a car, was removed. A car is now removed completely or not at all, never while the game is running, and a failed uninstall stays listed in Downloads.
- Editing your bio on your own store page wiped your page name and used up one of your renames.
- Upload a mod offered cars, liveries and drivers you had downloaded from other creators as yours to publish.
- After pledging on Patreon, Refresh showed your new tier but PRO stayed locked until REDLINE restarted.
- A car or brand name containing web code could run it inside the app. Names are now always shown as plain text.
- Laps REDLINE uploads now include the car and the session type, which were missing for most online sessions. Laps you had already uploaded get the missing details filled in once; laps you never uploaded are not sent.
For converted cars
- What carries over: the model, where Assetto Corsa placed it; physics in Assetto Corsa EVO's units (engine, turbo, gearbox, suspension, brakes, aero, DRS, ERS/KERS, ABS and traction control); cameras; gauges and needles; digital displays as dash pages; lights; animations; visual damage and glass; and the menu details. The converter compatibility page lists what is approximated or left out.
- Skins become liveries. A car with no skins gets one livery made from the model's own textures.
- The car's own engine sound bank is converted. The Engine sound option uses the template car's sound instead, for a bank that won't load or sounds wrong.
- A model that ships with a single level of detail gets a generated LOD chain at Kunos' own distances.
- The setup screen is complete: toe on all four wheels, a tyre compound choice when the car has more than one compound, sensible slider ranges, and performance modes on cars whose centre and rear differentials switch between two settings.
- At night the dashboard lights up with the headlights, the headlight beams start clear of the bodywork, and the tail lights come on with the headlights. Cockpit warning lights glow as small lamps instead of glaring over the gauges.
- Converted cars bring their own Assetto Corsa driver across (helmet, suit, gloves, shoes and head), seated from the car's own driver position, with steering and gear-change animations rebuilt from the car's own files.
- If your PRO ends, you can still uninstall the cars you converted and clear their files from your disk. Only converting and installing need PRO.
