A Windows tool for your own copy of Assetto Corsa EVO: building and tuning cars, converting Assetto Corsa cars, painting liveries, editing setups and sharing them through the REDLINE Store. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Kunos Simulazioni or 505 Games. You need your own legitimate copy of the game.
Cars, liveries and setups are written into Assetto Corsa EVO's folders in
your Saved Games (Saved Games\ACE), where the game reads them
itself. REDLINE also writes a few small files of its own into the game's
install folder (redline_runtime.cfg,
redline_bootrace_tune.cfg, trackmap_state.cfg,
modloader_debug.flag, and mods\redline_session_setup
when you set fuel or tyres for a session).
When you start the game from REDLINE, it loads its signed engine file
(redline.dll) into the game process, which changes how the game
behaves while it runs. REDLINE checks that file's signature before loading
it. Starting the game from Steam loads nothing of REDLINE's. REDLINE does not
modify the game's archive (content.kspkg) or its executable.
REDLINE downloads its own updates: interface updates and engine files install by themselves after their signature is checked; app updates are offered in the app and install when you accept them.
Modifying a game can go wrong, and Assetto Corsa EVO is in early access and changes without warning. A game update can pause REDLINE's in-game features until REDLINE supports the new build; that is expected, not a fault. Keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose. Steam's Verify integrity of game files restores the game's own files.
REDLINE joins public servers through the game's own content check: the game compares every car a server runs, so a tuned, converted or mod car can only join a server that allows it. REDLINE's tuning is off online. How the game's publisher treats modified installs is their decision, and nobody here can appeal it for you.
Only convert cars you are allowed to use. REDLINE never decrypts encrypted or protected content. Cars converted from Kunos' Assetto Corsa are for your own use; REDLINE will not share them to the Store. For a mod car, its author's permissions decide whether you may share the result.
REDLINE Studio is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it. You may not resell it, redistribute it or present it as your own work. You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of REDLINE Studio or its engine file, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it. Content you create with it is yours.
A key is for you. Sharing or reselling it, or trying to forge one, ends it. Keys can be blocked for abuse of the Store or the community.
Most of REDLINE is free to use. REDLINE PRO is paid: it adds the Assetto Corsa car and livery converters, saving liveries from the Livery Studio and the Showroom for cars REDLINE built. It comes with a qualifying Patreon pledge (Stage 2 or above), or with a one-time purchase when one is offered in the app. PRO is added to your licence key and is removed if the payment is refunded or disputed. Payments are handled by Patreon or the payment provider, never by REDLINE, and their own terms apply to them.
Only upload what you have the right to share. Do not upload other people's work without permission, or anything that harms whoever downloads it. Uploads can be removed and accounts banned without notice. Uploads are hosted so other users can download them; you keep ownership of what you make.
REDLINE is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it works, keeps working, or stays available.
